Absolutely! We’re seeking personal stories and photos from people who attended movies at Detroit’s grandtheaters—the Fox, Capitol Theater (Detroit Opera House), Redford, Senate, and other neighborhood palaces. Share your memories of first dates, Saturday matinees, and magical movie experiences.
HOW CAN I SHARE MY STORY, PHOTOS, OR VIDEO?
Visit our submission page to share your theater memories through our Google Drive link. We especially welcome stories about specific theaters, memorable films you saw, and the experience of going to the movies in Detroit’s golden age.
WILL MY STORY OR PHOTOS BE FEATURED IN THE DOCUMENTARY?
We carefully review all submissions. Selected stories and photos will be featured in the film, and we may contact you for an on-camera interview. Your memories help preserve the magic of Detroit’s movie palaces.
WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY A COPY OF THE FILM?
Yes! DVDs will be available for purchase after the film’s premiere.
WHERE CAN I WATCH THE FILM?
